I know I am just as excited as my son for the new LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Philadelphia to be opening soon! I especially love the location in Plymouth Meeting as it is a quick ride down the Northeast Extension of the Turnpike from the Lehigh Valley. In less than 35 minutes, we can be to Legoland!
Kids of all ages love to build and create with Legos! LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia will be a 33,000-square-foot indoor center designed to entertain children and their families for 2-3 hours of creativity and imaginative learning. Most of us parents who will be taking our kids can remember their own childhood memories from playing with Legos!
LEGOS are great toys for kids bringing out their own creativity and using their imaginations! There are so many options to choose from in sets from Scooby Doo, to Star Wars, to LEGO Friends, there is something out there for every child to enjoy and build! The new center will also include a 4D cinema, and a LEGO-themed ride! For a fun, short road trip this is a great place for the whole family to be hands on and let your creative side out!
Single Day Admission Passes are available for purchase online at special rates starting at $19 per person. Tickets will be available for purchase at-the-door for $24 per person. Annual Passes are also available for purchase through the Discovery Center’s website. Annual Pass holders receive unlimited access to the attraction for 12 months and benefits including café, LEGO Shop and birthday party discounts. By purchasing an Annual Pass before March 31, families are granted “First to Play” access with an invitation to the Center’s “First to Play” Preview Weekend. The Discovery Center’s “First to Play” Preview Weekend will be on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2. Annual passes will be on sale for $59 per person after March 31.
“We cannot wait to welcome families from across the Greater Philadelphia region and beyond to experience the ultimate indoor LEGO playground,” said Michael Taylor, General Manager of LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia. “The Discovery Center will provide two to three hours of repeatable LEGO play experiences that power creativity and learning through shared LEGO fun for the entire family.”
