A couple of the women I know from the Philly Social Media Moms started this “I am Mom Enough” link party. I wanted to add my two cents, but the last 24 hours in this house have been complete chaos, so better late than never! In the past I have trusted what doctors, friends, random people have said, until my son had a health scare and I had the courage to ask questions and trust my gut. It turned out my gut was right and the doctor was wrong. I blamed myself for not standing up as his mother. Now I make decisions on what I feel is best and not necessarily what works for others. I love love love Pinterest. It lets me pin crafts and ideas for later and lets me plan for holiday’s like Mothers Day brunch. I went a little crazy with the beFunky filters on my phone:) The above pic doesn’t do it justice… check out the picture below for the exact colors:) Last week the free Mothers Day printable cupcake toppers, cake toppers, and gift tags were a big hit, so I made a Mothers Day Banner that you can download print and assemble that matches. The below are the spacers included with the letters. All you need to do is take a small hand held hole punch and put a punch in each of the top corners and then run yarn, string, raffia, whatever you would like through them:) You can download all of the letters and spacers HERE through Media Fire. Last week I was so excited to be able to try the T-fal ActiFry to cook our family meals in a healthy way. I was sent the T-fal ActiFry to try out and share my experience. It showed up at the best possible time as I was completely overwhelmed last week and needed some help making quick and easy meals that didn’t require a lot of cleanup. Mostly because I had no hot water to wash dishes with (long story) or had no access to my pantry downstairs (even longer story). The T-Fal ActiFry has pulsed hot air and a paddle that constantly stirs the ingredients, which makes for easy cooking and even easier to clean up! In fact, you can enjoy items that would normally be fried, in a healthy way. It takes a tablespoon of oil (or less) to prepare food, even fried foods. I made a bolognese sauce, browned ground beef, made a stir fry, and sweet potato fries all with little cleanup (I just put the insert in the dishwasher:). I loved the fact that I can make a dish from start to finish in the ActiFry so that means not a lot of cleanup.… more

I was busy creating some digital design goodies yesterday and made the above free Mothers Day printable cupcake toppers. I made them in a mini and large size so you can use them for cupcakes, cakes, and even to have fancy cheese or hors d’ovres picks:) Also, if you are wrapping gifts, they will make a great gift tag! Remember, these are for personal use only. The digital paper I used to make these toppers was from Sassy Designs Inc. If you love these can you please share them with others by Pinning, Tweeting or Sharing on Facebook. Just click the share buttons below to pass it along. You can download both sizes of the free Mothers Day printable cupcake topper and the terms of use HERE - The sheet is sized to print on a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. I recommend using a heavier card stock, however, I printed some on standard copier paper, too. To make the toppers and picks, take two circles and sandwich the toothpick in between.
