Well as you may be able to tell, my new years resolution was to build up my mini stock pile again and not pay full price for groceries. I let myself slack in November and December and now I am back on track again:) Below are the pictures of my trip to Target, Rite Aid, and Shoprite (there is 40 free prints from Target missing) …. I would have spent $96.54 but with matching coupons to sales, I only spent about $26! Plus I have $3 to spend at Rite Aid next week and $9 towards the resolution rewards! Very cool!
The best part was, 90% of the coupons that I had were printed. I used the 1/1/12 Smart Source insert for one of the coupons and the 1/1/12 P&G insert for a few others.
Think that it’s too time consuming to coupon? I took 1 1/2 hours (this is counting clipping, making a list, going to all those stores and the travel time in the car). I saved $70 by putting 1.5 hours into it. Because my coupons were organized and the shopping trip was for only these items, I could get in and out of the stores in less than 10 minutes each. So I figured out my hourly rate and it would have been like making $45 an hour!!! Still not worth it?
